Since launching Desktop Nexus, we’ve experienced astronomical growth. We’re now seeing over 20,000 downloads a day and visitors from all around the world. We’ve formed a number of partnerships, including one a content distribution agreement with Pixsy. We have over 11,200 wallpapers and are quickly approaching 2,000 users, contributing an overall total of 2,000,000 downloads. Wow!

Well, we’ve been working night and day for weeks now on something big for Desktop Nexus, and hopefully we’ll launch it by November 1st, so stay tuned. :)

    I started following your blog, after reading you’re first post about Desktop Nexus. I am very impressed by how smooth everything is and got just the right feel to it. It’s what I would call good (e-)Craftsmanship!

    This site just steals copyrighted materials form other sites. They don’t create anything here. So lets just stop downloading the pictures as the site owner didn’t make them, the people posting didn’t make them, and the beautiful graphics were made by other artist and stolen to put on this site.
    DON’T DOWNLOAD FROM HERE. IN FACT FIND ANOTHER PLACE THAT DOESN’T STEAL OTHERS MATERIALS.

    I am an artist who just found 5 of my works on your site “Desktop Nexus” without my permission. They were posted on one person’s page in particular. Trouble is while going through them I found about 40 other works belonging to friends of mine. The person has since passed away, I am told. If one person can do it, who is to say there are not others. What are you doing to protect artist’s ownership of their intellectual property. For me it obvious when the artist’s name is not the same as the person’s page.How far do really go in verifying?

    I am in %100 agreement with the preceding post by Jim. A friend of mine is going to spend the next 3 or 4 days writing e-mails back and forth tp you to have her works removed. Your site is already getting a bad reputation among the plan to do about it? I and several of my friends would like to know. We work hard to make our art and trust people to act accordingly. I ask you the same.
